The Man Who Fell to Earth First Impressions

The movie is 2 hours and 18 minutes long and it felt pretty long. Maybe some of those erotic scenes could have been cut out as they didn't seem to add much for the most part. Like okay when Mary Lou found out Mr. Newton doesn't have a penis in his extra-terrestrial form that mattered but other than that... What was the point of the Doctor being into 18 year olds? I am just saying that since the movie was already long... Despite the story being long the pacing was fast too, maybe too past... make-up is used to make side characters look older. I still have no idea who the man looking at Mr. Newton climb down the hill was.

Bowie's acting wasn't bad but isn't that just how Bowie is usually in real life...

What was that stuff about time displacement lol.... like Newton/Bowie could see people from the past while sitting in a car and looking outside... and they could see him... so he wasn't seeing what he saw on television.

I liked how they incorporated television into the plot... much better than how they incorporated sex imo.. Basically the aliens could see all the water on this planet.... Sometimes I didn't get what was wrong with Newton though... like when he was screaming about how "they" should get out of his head.

I don't drink so was the "dry gin" or whatever which Bowie consumed alcoholic? Or not?

Wasn't impressed by muh evil corporate America plot-line. Didn't even get why Farnborouh or whatever the lawyers name is, was killed.

Alien man got predictably betrayed.. Liked that at aleast.
